The Progressive Party have today announced that they will be instructing all members of their party to vote YEA to any bill containing the word ‘environment’.
In an unexpected move from the PPHQ, a statement was released saying: “Any party containing the word ‘progressive’ in their name should be voting for progressive things and anything environment related is, in our mind, progressive.”
The statement continued, “We are a progressive party, voting for progressive things. The environment is progressive, we are progressive. Therefore the progressive party votes for the environment. Anyone that does not vote YEA for any bill with the word ‘environment’ included anywhere in the title of the bill will not progress in our Progressive Party.”
When it was pointed out to a spokesperson that some bills that included the word ‘environment’ in the title could indeed be used to damage the environment a Progressive Party spokesperson replied, “The party doesn’t care about your technicalities, we are a progressive party making radical decisions, ANY bill with the word environment in will be voted YEA by any senators in the party”
