‘We all get on great’ press release from major parties states.
A joint statement released today by the Democratic and Republican Parties, announced that they get on very well and had no issues with each other.
Rumors had been circulating recently that some members of the rival parties didn’t like each other very much, but this speculation has now been quashed.
“Despite our political differences, we want to make it very clear that everyone on both sides respects the politicians of the opposing party.” the statement said. “The idea that any of our politicians would act in a disrespectful way towards their opponents is shocking and undermines what this great nation stands for.”
“Both parties commit to continuing to work with one another for the good of the nation, and in doing so make the world of politics a welcoming and inclusive environment. Governments work for the good of the people and it is both parties’ goal that we do so in a manner befitting of those great politicians that came before us.’
In a separate statement, the Progressive Party said “We also like people.”
